Printed / Handwritten Fields Classification Library

This library allows you to recognize the field type: printed or handwritten. This is useful because before processing a field, you need deciding if using either ICR for handwritten text or OCR for printed text.

The procedure of field type classification is fast and accurate.

For testing this library you can download the demo application (330 KB) that allows you to use this function with your TIF images: please give us your feedback and your comments after the test !

Samples: the following images are ALL classified with 100% accuracy: You only have to supply the monochrome DIB (Device Independent Bitmap) containing the field to process.
